Over roughly the next month I’ll be participating in SoFoBoMo.. What is SoFoBoMo you might ask?

SoFoBoMo is short for Solo Photo Book Month – a group event where a bunch of photographers all make solo photo books start to finish, in 31 days, at more or less the same time.

It’s very similar to NaNoWriMo if you’ve ever heard of that. National Novel Writing Month occurs every November and encourages everyone to write a novel in a month. This is a tough endeavor that not all may finish, but the important part is to get people writing! The same is true for SoFoBoMo. Let’s all get out and take pictures!

I’ll be doing a project called “Dine ‘n Dash” (Working title). Over the next month or so I’m going to be eating out at all the local restaurants and taking photos of the restaurants, the people that work there, and the food that’s served. Now due to the title I have so far I’m going put up a disclaimer: I WILL be paying for all food and services provided at the restaurants. If you can think of a better title, be sure to leave it in a comment!

So hopefully this project will unfold into something amazing, and I hope I can complete it, and publish my very first book!

So this is it, the final few weeks of class. I began the practicum working with an organization known as the Ipswich River Watershed Association, however due to transportation issued I’m working together with fellow photographer Alec Chvirko on this and another project. After about two weeks we had to drop the project for the Ipswich River Watershed Association. Due to the time of year it was going to be difficult to find activities to shoot. We’ve just completed the project for CAH and put together a multimedia project to showcase our work. Here’s what we gave them:
